Casa Orozco
About us
At Casa Orozco, our passion for family, food, and culture have blessed us with award-winning food that we can serve you at our two wonderful locations in the Tri-Valley area.
Our History
We opened our first Casa Orozco on March 16th, 1984 in Dublin Ca. The founding owners are parents Luis Sr. his wife Herlinda along with their five children Luis Jr., Maricela, Jesus, Carlos and Nancy.
Our story began when we wanted to fulfill a lifelong dream of opening our own family business. All we had was each other, a strong family bond, a hard work ethic and Mama's recipes, which we all loved since childhood. In the beginning we all did our part, Mama, Luis Jr. and Jesus could always be found in the kitchen, Papa was busy washing the dishes, Carlos and Nancy would help as soon as school was let out and Maricela worked the front desk. We worked everyday from 7:00 a.m. until closing. We are so proud of what we have accomplished as a family run business.
We welcome you, your friends and your families to stop by and sample our truly unique home-made dishes, salsas and sauces as well as our hand crafted cocktails at one of our two locations. Come in and see how our passion for family, food and culture have blessed us with award winning food and two beautiful locations to serve you. Buen Provecho, La Familia Orozco
AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Over the past years Casa Orozco has been the very proud recipient of countless recognitions, great reviews, reader's choice awards and certificates of appreciation for myriad charitable contributions and fundraising efforts helping many causes right here in the Tri-Valley area. This community has been very good to us time and time again with their enthusiastic support, patronage and votes when it comes time to choose the "Reader's Choice" winner for 'Best Mexican Food', 'Best Margarita', 'Best Appetizer', and 'Best Entree' just to name a few of the categories Casa Orozco has been recognized for, not to mention multiple awards from Diablo Magazine's 'Best of the East Bay' readers' polls.
We hope to continue to please and delight our customers for many years to come.
Our community
In order to better serve our ever-growing ranks of 'regulars' who, for so many years have supported us, we are dedicated to returning the favor. Not just by building two of the largest, most architecturally beautiful restaurants in the Valley to better serve and delight you, but also by making a very thorough and conscious effort to purchase the vast majority of our goods and services from local suppliers, usually within a ten-mile radius of our locations. We do this to support our local workforce and to keep the vast majority of our gross sales right here in our community with our friends and neighbors. We also hire staff that lives usually no more than five to seven miles from our locations for the very same reason. Furthermore, every single Orozco family member still lives right here in the Tri-Valley. That's why approximately 90 cents out of every dollar spent here at Casa Orozco stays right here in our community. Can the same be said of a chain restaurant?
Our restaurants have served as venues for so many celebrations, fundraisers and special events that they can't all be mentioned here but we are sure that anyone living within a few miles of our locations has either attended one or knows someone who has. We are happy to be active participants in the betterment of the communities in which we do business. Therefore, we make our restaurants available to just about any charity, sports program and school organization for fundraising events. We make these events easy to organize, give insightful tips to the organizers on how to maximize their results and best of all we make it fun and profitable.
